Oh what joy! It was the last day of the Great Grace Conference, and the service was off to an early start. Expectations were so high, you could tell from the giant and confident strides of the people. The man of God set to grace the altar this evening was obviously highly regarded.
After an electric round of praising the Chief Commander of the heavenly armies, the people launched into soul-stirring worship, ‘El-Shaddai is Your name’, they sang. The atmosphere had definitely been set for blessings.
Bro. Kayode Ariyo quickly launched the people into a session of prayer right after the worship. He explained that there was a wisdom concerning the people’s destiny that had to be downloaded in the place of prayer, and this was enough to get the people declaring, claiming and downloading, speaking in different tongues as they did.
The Avalanche subsequently ministered a number titled “You hold my world”, re-assuring the people that they had no need to worry when God holds their world in His hands. This was quickly followed by a string of worship medley.
There was something about the string of worship medleys and the instrumentals this evening. There was almost a need to confirm if the host of angels were somewhere around, the ambience was simply spirit-filled. And although the people had been asked to take their seats, there was an un-commanded rising by the time the Avalanche started singing “Hosanna! Let our King be lifted high”.
The Senior Pastor of the Commonwealth of Zion Assembly, Rev. Biodun Fatoyinbo, encouraged the people and subsequently introduced Dr. Mike Murdock amidst much cheer. Dr. Mike led the people in a confession with their personal bibles, and without wasting much time he launched into the message God had sent him to deliver to the Commonwealth of Zion Assembly. He titled his message ‘Decisions that will decide your success in life’ with a text from Isaiah 1:19
- God schedules your life by your decisions;
- Every problem in life is a door to prosperity;
- One sinner with a goal is more powerful than 10,000 Christians without a goal;
- A question is a seed for a new season;
- Every time you solve a problem, God is indebted to you.
According to Dr. Mike Murdock, there is a need to sow to the next level of joy, and uncommon seeds produce uncommon harvests. ‘A seed that leaves your hand never leaves your life’, he said, ‘it goes to the future to wait for you.’ God’s general prophesied over the people, and called for those who would sow in faith.
The Tithe and pledges were brought into the store house and soon it was time for the communion. Rev. Bob. Alonge prophesied over the people as he declared words over the communion into their lives. The offering was given simultaneously as the people received the communion, which was symbolic of giving back to the Father for the great sacrifice on Calvary.
Rev. Biodun ended the service with powerful declarations over the people and with that, November was a wrap. By the time the people gather in God’s house again, it would be the 12th and last month of the year 2013. It had indeed been a November full of great grace.
